This docking Wahl ear, nose and brow trimmer is the first rechargeable nose hair trimmer on the market (as far as we are aware), it charges via its dock just like an iPod! This trimmer comes with a variety of accessories including a mini shaving brush, an eyebrow comb, and two different heads – one head is a rotary blade and the other is a reciprocating blade. Each charge of the trimmer gives you around 2 hours of continuous use, if it only takes you a few minutes to trim your hair then you won’t need to recharge too often!
At around $20 with free shipping this trimmer can be considered good value and due to the accessories included would make a great gift, the question that you perhaps need to ask is whether it is really necessary to buy a rechargeable trimmer when energy efficient trimmers such as the Panasonic Vortex can operate with just a single AA battery which will last the typical user for up to a year at a time!

Wahl 9865-300 Deluxe Groomer Rechargeable Ear, Nose and Eyebrow Trimmer
The exact same trimmer is also available in a different package with a few additional accessories, the Wahl 9865-300 set includes three heads rather than two, and also comes with tweezers, nail clippers, and small scissors which are perfect for picking up missed hairs. Again, this trimmer would make a decent gift but at $25 with free shipping on Amazon you could probably do a bit better by checking out the best nose hair trimmers on the market and instead choosing a battery operated trimmer or indeed a manual nose hair trimmer which requires no power whatsoever!
It is our personal belief that the reason we haven’t seen any other brands release rechargeable trimmers is because the whole concept is a little pointless and really won’t save people much money, if any, when compared with top end battery operated trimmers such as the Panasonic ER430K Vacuum.

Those on a really tight budget who need something to do a job until they can afford something better, or perhaps just want a spare for travel or for a second home, you may wish to consider the much older Wahl 5567-200, a trimmer which has since been superseded by the two products above. This no frills trimmer has mixed reviews, but with a 2 year warranty it may be a risk worth taking seeing as it is available for just $7 with free shipping!
The Wahl 5567-200 works on both wet and dry hair and is also suitable for trimming nose hairs and your eyebrows, a detail blade can also be used on a beard or mustache. The Wahl can by no means compete with the best nose hair trimmers on the market, but if things are a bit tight and you can’t stretch to $15-$20 then this trimmer has to be a contender!
